Year 2 have been Town Planners this week. They have been learning the meaning of collaboration, compromise and communication by working together to make town maps in house teams.
The children first had to discuss what facilities are needed, there was a lot of discussion and some great ideas. They then had to get crafty and actually create the maps out of paper and label all the different facilities. Once the maps were complete it was very interesting to compare the different maps and think about which town would be the best to live in.
