Pudsey Bear Comes To Coopersale Hall School

Miss Barnard introduced Clara, the Head of School Council, in this week’s assembly.
Clara gave speech to inform everyone that the first charity event of the year would be raffle for the chance to win Pudsey Bear in support of Children in Need.

An extract from Clara’s speech to the school –

‘Next week, James, Jess and I will be selling raffle tickets in the mornings by the entrance gates.  The tickets will cost £1.00 each and all the money will go to support Children in Need.  You can buy more than one ticket to increase your chances of winning.  The closing date will be Thursday 22nd September and the raffle will be drawn in the assembly on Friday 23rd September.’

Children in Need is a fantastic charity. It supports over 2,400 local charities and projects in communities across the UK that assist children and young people who face a variety of challenges such as poverty, disability or illness, distress, neglect, or trauma.

Please DO enter as Pudsey needs a good home and he gives excellent hugs!

Clara’s inspiring first speech in her new role was thoroughly enjoyed by the school.  We all wish her a happy and successful year ahead!
