Holiday Clubs

Summer Clubs 2015

The following activities are available for all pupils from the Oak-Tree Group of Schools. More information and a booking form can be found at the bottom of this page.

Multi-Sports Club
5 weeks at Coopersale Hall and 5 weeks at Oaklands for pupils from Upper Kindergarten to Year 6. Activities include short-tennis, rounders, basketball, hockey, football and cricket, small-sided matches and tournaments with prizes awarded at the end of the week.

Early Years Sessions
9 weeks available across the schools for pupils from Lower Kindergarten to Transition (Reception). Days planned according to the EYFS Curriculum and activities include arts and crafts, messy play, outside play, science and cooking, story-telling and much more.

Drama Workshop
1 week at Coopersale Hall and 1 week at Oaklands for pupils from Year 1 to Year 6. The days will concentrate on learning various drama techniques, improvisations and plays, and drama games culminating in a showcase on the final afternoon.

‘Achievement’ Week
1 week at Oaklands for pupils from Year 1 to Year 3. Mornings focus on planned reading activities appropriate to the abilities of the children and afternoons involve a variety of fun, creative activities designed to prepare children for the next academic year.

Activities Week
1 week at Coopersale Hall for pupils from Reception to Year 6. Activities include baking, cake decorating, arts and crafts, board games and language games, and outside activities including nature walks and games.

Christmas Clubs

Multi-sports sessions run during the Christmas break for boys and girls from Normanhurst, Coopersale Hall and Oaklands Schools aged 3 to 11 at Coopersale Hall.

Half Term Multi-Sports Courses

Run at Coopersale Hall, open to boys and girls aged from 3 to 11 from the three Oak-Tree Schools. Activities will include short-tennis, rounders, basketball, hockey and football. More information to follow.

Easter Clubs

Multi-sports sessions run during the Easter break for boys and girls from Normanhurst, Coopersale Hall and Oaklands Schools aged 3 to 11 at Coopersale Hall.

Term Time Clubs

Breakfast and After School Club

We have a supervised Breakfast Club from 7.45am to 8.40am each day, and an After School Club until 6pm. These are for pupils from rising 3 (ie age 3 in the term starting the club) to Year 7 and are run by Normanhurst staff. Drinks, breakfast cereals and toast are provided every day.

After School Club runs to 6pm and is staffed by the same team. Sandwiches and fruit are provided every day and homework can be completed in the quiet area. There are also many activities on offer.

It is advisable to book these clubs via the School Office either on an occasional, regular or daily basis. See below for the latest pricing schedule for both clubs.

There are many chargeable and non-chargeable clubs that take place during and after school, which are of great benefit pupils of all ages.

Saturday Morning Sports Courses

Courses are run by Mark Byron and his coaches from Premier Sport during term time at Coopersale Hall School, for pupils of all sporting abilities from Upper Kindergarten to Year 2 (approximately 4 to 7 years old) from the three Oak-Tree Schools. Sessions last for an hour and cost £8 per session, booked in advance in blocks of 10 sessions. Children are taught a variety of skills to develop their technical abilities and confidence within a range of different sports. For more information or to book a place visit www.premiersport.org and type in Cooperale Hall in the ‘find course’ section.
