House Easter Activities
Pupils in Key Stage 1 were delighted to take part in our Easter House Activities morning. The Year 6 House Captains enjoyed supporting and assisting the Year 1 and Year 2 classes, who thoroughly enjoyed creating their Easter pictures. The event helped to strengthen bonds within each house and gave pupils the opportunity to communicate and collaborate, sharing ideas as they discussed how to decorate their pictures.
The Year 6 House Prefects also had a wonderful time supporting and encouraging their house tables. Well done to River, Marnie, Margeaux, and Barnaby for their excellent assistance alongside the House teachers.
Key Stage 2 pupils gathered in the hall with their houses for their Easter activity. They listened attentively as Miss Gilbert explained that they would be working together to create a piece of doodle art, incorporating elements that reflected the colours of their house, which they could embellish as they wished. Pupils worked calmly and collaboratively, chatting happily as they created their shared pieces and admired one another’s creativity.
Mrs Hogarth (Head of Oak), Mrs Biddle (Head of Beech), Mrs Jones (Head of Chestnut), and Miss Gilbert (Head of Willow) were delighted with how well the pupils communicated with one another, how imaginative they were, and were extremely proud of how well they represented their houses.
