Naming our Soft Guide Dog Puppy

IMG 2281In his role as School Council representative, Ace was incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and support shown by the whole school during our recent Guide Dogs assembly. It was clear that the visit had made a real impact, and he was delighted to take on the important task of drawing the winning name from all those who had generously donated and suggested names for the puppy.

We were thrilled when Elara from Year 2 was selected as the winner. She has chosen the lovely name Darcey for the puppy, which we think suits her perfectly. It was wonderful to see such excitement and engagement from pupils across the school, all eager to contribute to this meaningful event.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our school community, we are pleased to have raised £80. This money will be donated to the charity to support the vital work they do in training and caring for guide dogs, helping people with visual impairments to live more independently and safely.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported this worthwhile cause. Your contributions will make a real difference.
