Year 1 Stanley - Handling their Chicks with Care
Year 1 Stanley have been thoroughly captivated by observing the eggs in their incubator hatch into lively, healthy chicks that are now strong enough to be gently handled by the pupils. This has been a truly exciting and memorable experience for the class. The children were delighted to have the opportunity to hold these wonderful chicks, and they demonstrated great care and responsibility while doing so, ensuring they handled them gently and stroked them with kindness.
Mrs Stanley was particularly pleased with how attentively the pupils listened to instructions and how thoughtfully they approached this special activity. It was clear that they greatly valued the opportunity to interact with their very own chicks. Over the past few weeks, the pupils have shown a high level of engagement, carefully observing and discussing the changes in the chicks as they developed. They have demonstrated both sensitivity and maturity in caring for the animals, showing a strong sense of responsibility in having the chicks within their classroom environment.
