Year 1 Castles Topic

Year 1 have started to learn about Castles in their topic lessons. Linking their homework to this topic, the children have been busy making their own crowns. Mrs Kerrigan and Mrs Stanley were very impressed with their beautiful and imaginative creations. The children are very much looking forward to visiting Colchester Castle later this term where they will be able to see the features of a real castle and learn about the people that used to live there.
