House Assemblies & House Photography Challenge

The pupils gathered in their Houses, where their Heads of House were delighted to introduce and discuss our new House Photography Challenge, which will be taking place soon.

This year’s theme is “House Colours”. Pupils are invited to take nine photographs featuring their House colours and arrange them into a creative collage.

The challenge is open to our entire school community, and everyone who takes part will earn House points for their team. Families are also encouraged to submit a collage and work together to create an imaginative entry, making this competition a wonderful celebration of community spirit. Our student leaders in the Senior School, alongside the Junior Heads of House, will carefully review all entries and select a winning collage in each age category. From these shortlisted entries, pupils will then have the opportunity to vote for the overall winner.

There was a great sense of enthusiasm, with pupils asking thoughtful questions and already beginning to consider the photographs they might take. Good luck to everyone taking part!

Chestnut and Beech House also took a moment to wish Sir David Attenborough a well-deserved happy 100th birthday. Pupils were delighted to share the reasons why they felt he is such a positive and inspiring role model for all.
