Year 4 visit All Saints Church

On Monday 1st June, Year 4 visited All Saints Church in Theydon Garnon as part of their RE learning on Christianity. During the visit, the children explored the church grounds, taking time to find a quiet space to reflect on what they could hear, see, and smell.

Inside the church, Reverend Sarah gave an informative talk about the different services and occasions held there as well as the purpose of each area within the building. The children were very engaged and asked thoughtful questions to deepen their understanding.

The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the children left with a much greater understanding of the church and why it is an important place for Christians.
