Farewell to Sooty

The pupils in the Junior School gathered in the hall to give Sooty, our guitar and singing teacher, a rapturous farewell performance of The Power of Me in recognition of the wonderful learning experiences and treasured memories she has provided for so many pupils during her 11 years with the Oak Tree Group.

We were delighted to hear that Sooty will be pleased to return and support Mrs Jones and Mr Wilson when we host special projects in the future.

Maggie was delighted to present Sooty with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the pupils. In return, Sooty spoke to everyone, saying:

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have been delighted to teach so many wonderful children. I wish you all the very best and hope to see you again in the near future."

The hall erupted in applause following her kind words. We would like to thank Sooty for her dedication and commitment over the years and wish her every success and happiness in the future.
