Final Assembly of the 2025/26 Academic Year

Mr Wilson was delighted to welcome everyone into the hall for our final assembly of the year. He thanked all the pupils for making this such a wonderful year, saying that everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, had played an important part in our school community.

The pupils enjoyed taking part in a quiz reflecting on the past year. They were asked questions such as, "How many days have you been at school?" and "How many lunches has the kitchen served this year?" Everyone enjoyed making their predictions.

The pupils were also quizzed on world news, and Mr Wilson was pleased that they knew the answer to a question about space exploration. They correctly identified that the Artemis II mission is set to take humans further into space than they have travelled since the Apollo era.

The assembly continued with a wonderful rendition of a Mexican song, before everyone came together to enjoy creating a Mexican wave.

Everyone then settled down to applaud and congratulate the pupils who had received certificates for excellent attendance, the Oak Tree Challenge, the House Photographic Competition, and those who had been nominated for the Head Teacher's Award this year. Mr Wilson was delighted to present this term's Head Teacher's Award trophy to Albie in Year 2.

The hall was filled with applause and cheers as everyone celebrated the achievements, progress, and contributions of pupils across the school.

To conclude the assembly, Mr Wilson wished everyone a happy and enjoyable summer break and reminded them to stay safe.
