Year 2 - Inspired by Andy Goldsworthy

Year 2 were delighted to begin their learning about the artist Andy Goldsworthy. They ventured out into the school grounds to collect a variety of natural materials, including different types of leaves, rosemary, and long grasses.

Using the materials they had gathered, the pupils created their own Andy Goldsworthy-inspired wreaths. They carefully considered the colours, sizes, textures, and different types of foliage, thoughtfully arranging each element to create their individual designs.

Mrs Hogarth was delighted with how enthusiastically everyone engaged in the activity and how carefully they considered the placement of each natural element within their beautiful wreaths.

Well done, Year 2, on this wonderful and creative start to your learning about Andy Goldsworthy!
