Year 7 - 1 Dimension Art

Year 7 pupils have made a great start to the year in art exploring one point perspective and zentangles.

They considered how to use line, shapes, and tone to create imaginative zentangle illusions. Created in 2004 by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, the method combines the concepts of "Zen" (mindfulness) and "tangle" (drawing simple strokes). It is designed to promote focus, relaxation, and stress relief through deliberate, mindful mark-making. 

A lovely way to start their art education at Coopersale Hall.  Well done everyone.
