PSHE Assembly - Infants & Juniors & School Council

The chilcren in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2  listened attentively to the NSPCC assembly that helps children to understand that certain parts of their body are private. They listened to a few simple rules and enjoyed listening to a song about 'Pantosaurus' which reinforced this important message.

Pupils in Year 3 to 6 had a separate assembly where they listened to an NSPCC assembly linked to their Talk Pants rules which help children to keep safe and build confidence. The children learned that different types of touch could be a safe touch or unsafe touch. 

Mrs Stanley reminded the children about the importance of the speaking out to a trusted adult, either at home or at school. She also highlighted that the children could use the school's Listening Ear for any worry they might have. 

School Council

Speeches and voting have taken place in all classes from Year 1 to Year 5.  A huge congratulations to all the winners!

Mrs Bull and Mrs Stanley were very excited to give out the badges to each winner. They cannot wait to see what wonderful ideas the School Council will come up with to help develop and improve our school this year.
