Year 2 Trip to Stanstead Airport

Year 2 had a fantastic trip to the Stansted Aerozone! During the visit, the children learned all about how Stansted Airport has grown and developed over the years and discovered the many different jobs involved in keeping an airport running smoothly.

The children took part in a range of exciting activities, including role play, science experiments linked to forces and even designed and flew their own paper aeroplanes.  They also enjoyed watching planes take off and land from the viewing area, which was a real highlight of the day.

The staff at the Aerozone were extremely impressed with the children's behaviour, enthusiasm and excellent manners. Year 2 represented the school brilliantly and we are very proud of them. It was a memorable day full of learning, curiosity and fun!
