Reading Buddies - February 2026

On Friday morning, the pupils in KS2 enjoyed the opportunity to visit the KS1 and EYFS classes as reading buddies. This gave everyone the chance to bond and share the enjoyment of stories together.

The activity also created many special moments. Siblings were able to spend time reading together, and Early Years teachers had the opportunity to see how pupils who were once in their classes have grown and how confidently and kindly they now interact with younger children.

Reading buddies allow pupils throughout the school to enjoy each other’s company while sharing the magic of stories. It was a lovely way to begin the day.
