Year 3 Discover Perspective

Year 3 have been learning how to use perspective to create city landscapes. They focused on drawing buildings with a three-dimensional effect, carefully considering shading and colour to recreate impressive city scenes.

The pupils also drew St Stephen’s Tower (more commonly known as Big Ben), paying close attention to the detail of this iconic London landmark. They then developed these skills further by studying the work of the artist L. S. Lowry and creating one-point perspective drawings of factory buildings along a street.

Mrs Biddle and Miss Gilbert were delighted with how enthusiastic and focused the pupils were throughout this art project. Well done, everyone.
