Year 8 Titanic Performance

ear 8 pupils have recently been showcasing their creativity and performance skills in Drama through their latest assessment based on the story of the Titanic.

As part of the task, pupils dressed in costume for their performances and worked hard to bring the characters and events to life on stage. The assessment challenged them to think carefully about a range of key drama techniques, including proxemics, tone of voice, script reading and understanding their character’s intent and emotions.

It was fantastic to see the effort pupils put into their roles and how enthusiastically they embraced the opportunity to step into character.
