Year 4B play Roman game of 'Jacks'

4B have enjoyed learning about the Romans this term. They found out that one of the games that Roman children used to play was ‘Jacks’ which involves bouncing a ball and trying to pick up a certain number of Jacks whilst catching the ball. The class used metal Jacks but the Romans actually used bones.   

It was tricky but Year 6 managed to get to 10!  They used their new knowledge to write a set of instructions about how to play the game.
