Year 3 Stone Age Topic

Year 3 have been thoroughly enjoying their Art and History lessons. They have learnt a great deal about the Stone Age and created beautiful skyline pictures of Stonehenge, as well as excellent cave art using charcoal, pastels, chalks, and paints.

Inspired by his new knowledge of Stone Age tools, Johnnie made a spear at home using a stick from his garden and a piece of slate, which he shaped by bashing it with a stone. Johnnie was very proud of his creation and enjoyed sharing it with his classmates.  Wonderful and creative work Year 3.
