A wish for Year 1

In Year 1, pupils build on their early learning through fun, creative, and practical activities. Our aim is to help children grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence while developing key skills across the curriculum.

Mrs Stanley and Mrs Kerrigan are delighted with how enthusiastically the pupils have engaged with their learning and how thoughtfully they reflected on what they hope to achieve over the year from their own personal point of view. Their beautiful boards illustrate these ideas and goals, which everyone was proud to share with one another. What a lovely way to begin the year together, well done, Year 1!
