Sunflower Competition
At the end of March, Coopersale Hall School pupils began a sunflower growing competition with two parts. The first took place at school, where pupils competed to grow the tallest sunflower. Congratulations to Year 1S, whose sunflower grew tall and healthy, winning the school competition.
The second part of the challenge was held at home, where pupils aimed to grow the sunflower with the largest head. We were delighted by the number of participants and are pleased to announce that the winners of the sunflower head competition are siblings Lily (RB) and George (LK), and also Golda (4W). They will receive a voucher for the Polly Painting Studio in High Ongar.
Well done to everyone who nurtured their sunflower and helped make this a fun and rewarding competition. We are also delighted to award these pupils 25 house points each for their green fingers!
