ISA Cross Country Competition

The Oak-Tree Group of schools were invited to the annual ISA Cross-Country Competition on Thursday. Coopersale Hall had 12 runners of whom some train weekly at running club and athletics club. The course was hilly and undulating and made up of grass and forest areas for an extra challenge.

We are so very proud of all of our runners who competed against over 100 runners in some races. Woolf and Carter did amazingly well in a very well-attended race around a tricky steep course. Ava and Valentina battled against some strong competition and had an amazing finish.

Gemma came 10th for a place in the National finals as did Banner who came an impressive 3rd to win a bronze medal. Aoife, Annabel, Jackson and Olivia had an incredibly tough battle against some tough competition.
