Year 7 Trip to Mountfitchet Castle

On Wednesday 5^th November Year 7 travelled to Mountfitchet Castle. This replica Norman Motte and Bailey Castle provided the perfect setting to investigate what life was like following the Norman invasion of England. The experience brought to life what students have been learning in lesson and has given students a solid starting point for designing and planning their own miniature models of medieval castles.
