Book Fair - November 2025

Miss Gilbert was delighted to host our whole school assembly and talk to the pupils about the book fair we are running this week. She brought along a selection of books from the fair, and everyone enjoyed browsing the titles and thinking about which ones they might like to read. Miss Gilbert was happy to answer the pupils’ questions and congratulated them on their excellent listening and attention throughout the assembly.

Miss Long is also running a book fair for the senior  students and was pleased to recommend books to them. She took great interest in listening to their reading preferences and guiding them towards books she has enjoyed and thought they would like too.

At Coopersale Hall School, the importance of reading is deeply embedded in our ethos. The benefits of reading are far-reaching and support children in many ways, including:

  • Helping them meet early development milestones and achieve more at school
  • Enhancing brain development, attention, and cognitive ability, which leads to better school readiness, improved progress across the curriculum, stronger speech and language development, and better literacy skills
  • Developing empathy, creativity, and imagination through reading fiction, encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving

We would also like to thank all our families for supporting our Book Fair and for helping us in our efforts to expand your child’s love of reading.
