Carol Service 2025
Coopersale Hall School held its annual Carol Service today in the beautiful setting of St John’s Church, Epping.
The children sang a selection of traditional carols, including Away in a Manger and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, filling the church with warmth and festive joy. Instrumental pieces performed by pupils added a special touch, showcasing the growing musical talent across the school.
Families, staff and friends gathered to share in the celebration, joining in the carols and soaking up the seasonal atmosphere.
As the Carol Service drew to a close, the Rev. Sarah Moss spoke to everyone about the power of music and song. This wonderful and joyous act encourages us to listen not only to the music and the words, but also to one another, helping us develop an inner sense of peace and harmony. Music warms our souls, allows us to breathe, pause, and reflect as we approach Advent.
During the four Sundays before Christmas, the Advent wreath, with candles representing hope, peace, joy, and love, marks a moment to reflect on the rhythms of our lives in anticipation of Christmas.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event, making it a memorable and heart-warming occasion for our school community.
