Forest School at Coopersale Hall
At Coopersale Hall, Forest School gives children regular outdoor learning in our local woodlands. Children learn through hands on experiences in a natural setting, which supports physical development, confidence, friendships, and a growing sense of responsibility.
During Forest School sessions, children take part in activities such as nature spotting, simple plant and wildlife exploration, problem solving games, and team tasks. Staff plan sessions that feel exciting and safe, and they use the outdoors to extend children’s talk, curiosity, and early understanding of the world.
The natural environment also helps children learn how to care for the world around them. They notice changes across the seasons, learn simple ways to respect nature, and take pride in looking after their space.
Forest School sits alongside our Early Years curriculum and supports language, personal development, and early science learning in a way children enjoy.
