Upper Kindergarten are learning their sounds through the RWI scheme. This week they have been learning the sound “a”. The children are encouraged to think of words beginning with “a” and then they draw an item which begins with this letter for their wall displays. This re-enforces their pencil control, fine motor skills and letter formation. We had a lovely morning.
Yasmin in UKT was helper of the day so had the privilege of sitting in the special chair. She really enjoyed this.
