Epping Station Shuttle Service

We are delighted to introduce our new shuttle service that will run between Coopersale Hall School and Epping Station. The main advantage of using the Underground network is that the journey time is much faster than using the arterial roads (Epping to Woodford in only 14 minutes).

This will be a free shuttle service available to pupils from Year 6 to Year 11, bookable in advance through the link below

Booking form

All bookings must be made in advance by 4pm the preceding day so that our office team can prepare the appropriate lists for our drivers. Our drivers will need to ensure that all pupils using the service are picked up each morning, so booking in advance is significantly important.

Booking will be half termly for those families choosing regular slots, with an option for one-off ad hoc bookings as required. Under 16s pay a reduced child fare, so children will need their own Zip Oyster card with sufficient credit for the daily return journey. The arrangements will be as follows:

Mornings

One of our uniformed drivers will pick up pupils from Epping Station on a continuous loop between 7.40am and 8.20am in one of the Oak-Tree logoed minibuses. We anticipate that the runs to school will be at 7.45am, 8am and 8.20am. It is less than a mile between Coopersale Hall School and Epping Station.

TFL’s current timetable of arrivals each weekday morning is as follows:

The minibus will wait on the forecourt of the station, directly in front of the main entrance. The pupils will be driven to the main school building and will be able to leave their bags in the bag racks before making their way to the hall, where they will be supervised before school (no charge). Breakfast will be served in the canteen, which will be a ‘pay as you go’ service for those who would like to take up the provision.

If a child gets held up on a later train, they should call the School Office number 01992 577133 either en route or from Epping Station, and our team will dispatch a driver.

Afternoons

The same uniformed driver will shuttle pupils every 15 minutes or so between 3:50pm and 4:50pm from the school’s main entrance to the front entrance of Epping Station to catch the following available trains (according to TFL’s current timetable):
