On Thursday 28 June Coopersale Hall School took part in the Oak-Tree Schools Rounders Festival at the Peter May Centre, Walthamstow. On a beautifully sunny afternoon, perfect for the game of rounders, our team played brilliantly. Normanhurst provided three different teams for us to play and in keenly contested matches it was wonderful to see the skills of all the players develop. Our team managed to finish the afternoon having won all of their matches.
Thank you to Normanhurst for making the festival such a success. Well done to our pupils for all the skill and determination they showed. Also a big thank you to the parents who turned up to cheer our pupils on.
