The Early Years classes and KS1 had a wonderful time during the Chartwells workshop, where they explored their five senses and extended their knowledge of different foods and tastes.
We use our senses every day, but how often do we stop to really think about them? During this session, pupils explored the five senses — sight, touch, smell, hearing, and taste — in greater detail.
The children had lots of fun becoming “food detectives,” using their senses to discover and identify a variety of foods and flavours.
The children in UKC were able to confidently recall all five senses during their morning discussion, demonstrating how much they enjoyed and learned from the session.
Year 2 especially loved using their senses to explore different food groups.
A big thank you to Chartwells for organising such an engaging and memorable experience for our children!
