This week, our key stage assemblies focused on the theme of friendship and how we can nurture positive relationships with the people who shape our lives.
Miss Gowland and the Key Stage 1 children watched a video and then discussed the key values that make a good friend. They explored how these qualities help us build strong, lasting, and happy relationships.
Mrs Zylstra spoke with the children about personal growth and becoming the person you are meant to be. She encouraged them to reflect on the skills they are developing—such as trust and shared goals—that form the foundation of meaningful friendships. These relationships, she explained, can help us feel secure and grounded, especially when facing change or challenges in life.
Everyone left the assemblies feeling inspired, taking time to reflect on the valuable messages shared and how they can apply them in their own lives.
