The day some people had been waiting for had arrived. The Coopersale House Cross Country competition – Beech, Chestnut, Oak and Willow. It was held on the school field. Children from Years 3 and Year 8 took part in the event.
The conditions were changeable but most of the time it was raining. The field was wet and squishy. Everyone still tried really hard to get around the field. We all cheered each other on. Some children found it really challenging to run, but they still powered through the mud because they wanted to make their House proud.
At the end, we counted all the points, and we found out that Oak had won first place with Willow in second place.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the race you all did very well and we will see who wins next time!
