Whole School Final Assembly

Pupils and families gathered in the hall for our final Prize Giving Assembly, warmly welcomed by Mr Wilson. He reflected on how this event is always tinged with both joy and sadness, sharing how much he had enjoyed his first year at Coopersale Hall. He expressed admiration for the school community, the pupils’ thirst for knowledge, and their kindness and respect towards one another.

To celebrate all that had been achieved, everyone enjoyed a slideshow of photographs showcasing the many memorable moments and accomplishments of the year.

The children then sang Champion, reminding us that we all have talents within us. Outgoing Head Girl, Iman, and Head Boy, Xander, took to the stage to reflect on their time at Coopersale Hall. They shared personal highlights, spoke of their pride in representing the school, and recalled experiences such as touring parents on open days and delivering speeches. Graciously, they welcomed the new Head Girl, Felicity, and Head Boy, Carter, wishing them every success and enjoyment in their new roles.

Florence and Sofia gave a delightful performance of Matchmaker, Matchmaker, a reprise of their impressive appearance in the recent KS2 Talent Show.

Mr Wilson then shared some exciting new initiatives planned for the next academic year. But first, alongside Mrs Doherty, he presented awards for achievement, progress, and form prizes, followed by bronze, silver, and gold Oaktree Challenge certificates. Each recipient was thrilled to receive their award and a keepsake from Mr Wilson, to warm applause from the audience.

To conclude, Mr Wilson awarded the three House trophies – for Sport, House points, and Overall winner – all of which went to Oak House. The cups were presented to the new Oak House Prefect, Margaux – a wonderful way to begin her new role.
