On 6 May Bank holiday Monday Imogen competed in her very first Inter-Schools Show jumping competition at Norton Heath Equestrian Centre.
The show was run by Felsted School and Imogen was representing Coopersale Hall. The class was against the clock and 18 competitors had already ridden. The time to beat was 19 seconds in the timed section! Imogen was riding her new pony, Flight, for the very first time and rode the timed section in 24 seconds to be placed sixth for Coopersale Hall.
Imogen then carried on representing Coopersale Hall in class 2 and class 3 with much higher jumps gaining two fabulous clear rounds. She was competing against 13 year olds who were getting some very fast times and jumped in the highest course she had ever jumped so far. Imogen has said she will be able to go quicker if she practises and will hopefully get a few more rosettes for the School.
