Year 1 Daly celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday today by making their own chocolate krispie cakes (estimating, weighing and timing), having a picnic to eat their cakes, and learning to sing the National Anthem (standing up) with the rest of Year 1 and Mr Reich-Storer.
Union Jack bunting is up in the classroom and the children have been learning about the countries of the United Kingdom as well as finding the Commonwealth countries on a world map.
The children have also written a lovely letter to the Queen.
