On Monday 6 February Coopersale Hall ‘A’ Team played two matches in the Epping & Ongar District Primary Football League.
In the first match against St. Andrews school, the boys played brilliantly with Harrison and Ronnie both scoring hat-tricks. The final score was 6-1.
In the second match against Chipping Ongar school the boys started very well and at one point led 3-1. But all credit to Chipping Ongar who battled back in the game and managed to beat us 7-5. We created many chances, hitting the post and bar in the last few seconds.
Mr Robinson would like to thank the pupils for playing so well and the parents for all their support. Next ‘A’ Team fixtures are on Monday 13 March.
