The week of 15 May is Walk to School Week.
The children of Transition Pettigrew talked about how leaving a car behind can make the air nicer and stops people getting cross if they can’t find a parking space. They also thought about the benefits of exercise and listened to each other’s heart beats after running on the spot for a while. As it was decided that it was not practical to walk to school every day, they have been participating in a long walk before going back into class after lunch time.
