History was made on Monday 13 November when Coopersale Hall took their first 6-a-side Girls Football team to Barnet PowerLeague ISA Tournament. The girls have been playing football in their games lessons and were very excited to play competitively. The first game was a 0-0 draw but in game two the girls were far more aggressive and claimed a 2-0 win. They went from strength to strength and got into the final. It was very tense but with Ruby’s shooting we won 3-0 – we had won the whole tournament! Everyone was over the moon. The girls were presented with medals and a trophy.
Well done to the whole team Ruby, Taylor, Scarlett, Lily Ann, Jasmine, Isabelle Lavery, Daisy, Darcey and Faye who has been coaching them.
