On Monday 19 March, Coopersale Hall took part in the Year 3 and 4 Oak-Tree Football Tournament, held at Oaklands School. Our first match was against Oaklands. We started well with an early goal and by half time, it was 2-0. In the second half we scored two more quick goals to make the final score 4-0 to Coopersale Hall.
Our second match was against a very fit and well-organised Normanhurst side – but once again, we started really well scoring two early goals to make it 2-0 at half time. The second half saw us mount many excellent attacks only to be stopped by the Normanhurst goalie who made many excellent saves. The final score was 2-0 to Coopersale Hall.
Well done to all the boys who represented the Year 3/4 school team they showed real team spirit and determination. A huge thank you to the parents who came to watch and cheer us on.
