Year 6 went on a trip to the William Morris Art Gallery on Tuesday. The gallery is the only public museum devoted to the arts and crafts designer. Located in Walthamstow, the building was Morris’ family home from 1848 to 1856.
The day started with a tour around the gallery where the children were able to see the work of William Morris. Feeling inspired, the class then got the chance to do some printing with different designs.
