On Monday 23 April Year 3 were kindly given a tour of our beautiful school grounds by ‘Steve the Groundsman’. The tour took place to help the pupils further their knowledge of their current Geography topic. They are learning to appreciate their environment and to identify local tree species by their leaves, buds and bark.
Amazingly there are over 30 different trees within our schools grounds alone, making it a wonderful place to learn. A big thank you to Steve for being an expert guide and for sharing his knowledge with the class.
