Special Visitors in UKC

As part of Upper Kindergarten’s Rainforest topic, the children have some very special visitors staying with them for the next couple of weeks, two crested geckos! The female is called Flame Red and the male is named Pin Stripe. Pin Stripe has dropped his tail as a form of defence. The geckos are found in New Caledonia, which the children learned along with many other interesting facts. Their favourite fact was that Geckos do not have eyelids but keep their eyes moist by licking them!
