Upper Kindergarten Baker are Going to Mars!

On Saturday 5  May NASA launched `InSight’, a robotic lander, on its journey to Mars. Along with all the scientific equipment that it will use to carry out lots of experiments on the surface of Mars, it will also carry a small `chip’ with over 2 million names etched onto it. One of the names is `Upper Kindergarten Baker’!

The class is enjoying learning about Mars and look forward to following the rocket on its journey and finding out what it learns when it lands. All of the children will be in new classes when it lands, as InSight will take 6 months to get to Mars and will not reach the planet until 26 November!
