Year 4 have made an exciting start to their study of the Stone Age. On Tuesday 11 September, they visited Epping Forest District Museum and handled a range of real Stone Age artefacts. A favourite object was a mammoth’s tooth!
The children enjoyed meeting Catherine Hammond again. She has visited Coopersale Hall several times to talk about Ancient Egypt and will be visiting Year 3 later this month.
The children spent the last hour of their trip exploring the galleries and spending some money in the shop.
