On Monday 15 October Coopersale Hall School took part in the ISA North London Area Swimming Gala, held at Copthall Pool, Barnet. It was well worth the battle with the Monday morning rush hour traffic as many of our swimmers performed brilliantly. Our best result was Kimaya, winning a silver medal in the U11 Girls Backstroke. Other good performances were Isabelle, second in her heat of the U11 Girls Breaststroke and Francesca, third in her heat of the U10 Girls Front crawl.
Special congratulations go to Kimaya, our Swimming Captain, who has qualified to swim at the London Aquatics Centre in Stratford as part of the U11 Girls London North Area Front Crawl Relay Team, in the ISA National Swimming Gala.
Mr Robinson would like to thank all of the pupils for sharing such determination and effort. Also a big thank you to all the parents who made the long trip to cheer our team on.
