Last week and this week, Year 6 have been taking part in a Bikeability course to help them understand how to stay safe when cycling on the road. On the first day of the course, a lot of the learning took place in the playground, then once they had all passed that stage it was time to move onto the local streets.
The two-day course gives the children a real cycling experience where they can learn first hand how to deal with traffic. Well done to all our cyclists for riding confidently and listening carefully to the instructors.
