Victorian Ragged School Trip 2019

“On Friday 10 May, Year 6 (which is my class) went on a trip to the Ragged School Museum in Bow. To get there we had to take the underground tube up to London.  When we arrived we had to wait in the downstairs room for a while, we were then taken back in time to a Victoria class where we were told that children must be seen and not heard.

The teacher was very strict she even sent Kimaya out of the classroom for being naughty.  After the class was finished we got to ask her questions.  We had lunch in the park and got to play before returning for the next activity.  We had to guess what a REAL Victoria item was and what it was used for.  Finally, we returned to school getting back at 3.30pm.

We all had great fun and it was an amazing experience.”
