In our practical Maths session this week, Year 4 were practising their estimating and measuring skills.
In pairs, they drew a plan of the playground and then estimated the distance across the length, width and around the perimeter. They then used trundle wheels to check the accuracy of their estimations. Working collaboratively with a partner was an important skill as was careful measuring and counting.
