Pupils in Year 1 Rooks have been recalling how to tell the time this week as well. To help consolidate their understanding, they made their own ‘Natural’ clock using pebbles for the clock face numbers and twigs for the clock hands. The children enjoyed showing the time on the clock to o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to the hour.
The children also had fun playing an interactive game to read the time on a clock. Members of the class read out the time and pupils took turns to choose the correct clock face. We are now using our clock in the classroom to check the time during the day!
